Headspace’s original website was falling apart — broken links, outdated visuals, and no structure to support their growing product catalog or marketing goals. It wasn’t serving customers, and it definitely wasn’t built to scale.
Spectra Studios saw the opportunity to rebuild the site from the ground up — not just visually, but strategically. With an ever-rotating product lineup and the need for detailed strain-level communication, we designed a full ecommerce-style platform that gave every SKU its own dedicated space, complete with imagery, product data, and space to expand.
The visual direction mixes Latin street art energy with the raw aesthetic of black market cannabis menus — the kind of stuff you'd find in WhatsApp or Telegram groups. That underground vibe was layered into a clean, structured UX: bold image-driven layouts, clear taxonomy, and an interface that feels gritty without ever becoming chaotic.
Spectra Studios handled every aspect of the website’s creative development — from art direction and UX/UI strategy to asset creation, layout systems, product imagery, copywriting, and SEO optimization. We delivered a full development-ready package to our build partner, who implemented the site based on our exact specs. Post-launch, we continue to manage all updates and expansions internally.
The biggest challenge was designing a site that looked loud and layered while staying lightweight, mobile-friendly, and easy to maintain. To solve it, we built everything around a templated system — from product pages to flavor breakdowns — so new SKUs could drop in without redesigning or rewriting anything. Every section was modular, every asset repeatable, and every page followed a structure designed to plug seamlessly into WordPress.
The result is a scalable, dynamic site that’s deeply tied into Headspace’s marketing ecosystem. We manage new product rollouts, content updates, and asset creation — while tying everything into live performance tracking through UTM tagging, SEO optimization, and analytics pipelines that feed directly into product strategy.
